Stories take you on a journey but the characters in them live with you forever. Various characters broaden your mindsets. Some make you laugh, some make you cry, some teach you values while some help you get a different perspective of things. Lets take a look at a few characters who I simply adore.
Peeta Mellark:- This character from Suzanne Collins ' The Hunger Games' trilogy teaches you to never loose hope even in the darkest of times. His personality is of a courageous, resourceful and self dependent person. He makes you fall in love with yourself and sometimes tells you the true meaning of love too. He spreads the idea of being ones true self. I personally was touched by the number of sacrifices Peeta made so selflessly for others.
Alaska Young:- Alaska's character from John Greens 'Looking For Alaska' is perplexing and alluring. She is wild and unpredictable with her moods changing at moment's notice as she continues to struggle with her mom's death. Alaska gives you the thrill of being a teenager and encourages you to widen your horizons. She teaches you to take on challenges and to cut loose. She's worse than me so I think you know what to expect.
That's it for now. I'll be updating soon with a few more characters that you guys will love. If you have some suggestions or feel like I have missed something, please leave a comment and let me know! Thanks, bye.
Augustus Waters:- This character from John Greens 'The Fault in Our Stars' will make you swoon and will never disappoint you in terms of humour and good intellect. Gus has a way with words and can convince a person of anything with just a simple conversation. He has a keen wit and a tendency towards performance. I personally find my thoughts pretty similar to his and am seriously jealous of Hazel Grace Lancaster.
Colin Singleton:- As a complete genius with an IQ of over 200, this character from John Greens 'An Abundance of Katherines' will make you reason your actions and take pride in who you are. He's unique in the best possible way. He finds everything intriguing and remembers most of what he has read, even if it is a phone directory! He even made me feel like doing Maths and that's huge.
